The Long Beach State men's basketball program got its second commitment from the prep class of 2011 today.

Shaquille Hunter, a 6-foot-2 guard who will be a senior at Villa Park High next month, told the Press-Telegram this afternoon that he committed to Coach Dan Monson's program this morning.

He averaged 21 points per game as a junior for Coach Kevin Reynolds' Spartans.

He joins Corona Centennial point guard Michael Caffey (who committed a couple of weeks ago) as seniors-to-be who say they will sign national letters of intent with the 49ers in November.

Look for more details in Saturday's Press-Telegram.
