Davis trade is official

The Clippers have just publicly confirmed what has been speculated upon since very late Wednesday night:

Baron Davis is no longer a Clipper.

Davis, who grew up in Los Angeles and starred at The Crossroads School in Santa Monica and at UCLA, was dealt to Cleveland in exchange for another (younger) point guard, 28-year-old Maurice Williams and veteran forward Jamario Moon.

Also going to Cleveland is the Clippers' first pick in the June draft.

The CLippers are holding a press conference at their headquarters at 1 o'clock today.
