Here are the area matchups for boys' first-round games in the 1A division . . . Wednesday, 7 p.m.:

UPPER BRACKET
Downey (#4 seed), has first-round bye, will play host Friday night to winner of Wednesday Fountain Valley at California game

LOWER BRACKET
Warren at Arroyo Valley
