Aaron Wright, a 6-foot-2 senior point guard who averaged 19.3 points and 5.6 assists for the Cerritos High basketball team, has accepted a scholarship offer by the UC Irvine coaching staff, Dons' Coach Jonathan Watanabe said Saturday morning.
Wright was chosen the Suburban League's Most Valuable Player as the Dons knocked off South Torrance and Calabasas before losing to Harvard-Westlake in the CIF Southern Section III-A quarterfinals.
