Clippers going for Bulldogs

The Clippers picked up two solid second-round choices -- both from the University of Georgia -- in forward Trey Thompkins (skilled/a good shooter) and guard Travis Leslie (a spectacular leaper with underdeveloped shooting and ball-handling skills).

Each could make the roster next season -- whenever that season begins.

. . . not surprisingly -- once he wasn't the top choice -- Derrick Williams was the No. 2 choice to Minnesota.

Was he picked for someone else in a pre-arranged deal? We'll find out soon.

I'd have gone Derrick Williams and a PG at 4, but the Cavs must really like the "big" they think they can get at 4.
