The American Red Cross is hosting a free CPR and first aid class on Saturday, March 19.
The Gabrielle Giffords Honorary Save-a-Life event takes place across the nation to provide the basics of hands-only CPR as well as shock and wound treatment. It is a shortened version of the Red Cross training course, which normally costs $25.

And you thought the Lunar New Year celebrations were over. The fourth annual Nite n' Day Arts Festival will take place in Chinatown, Los Angeles, on Feb. 12.
From 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., the festival will include traditional Chinese music ensembles, Korean performance troupes, Vietnamese folk dance, Japanese Taiko drummers, Lion Dancers, Latin Jazz or funk and soul bands and more.
