Hi Friendly Fire:
I sent Daily News a note, expressing my idea, that if the Body Count of people killed here in Los Angeles, or better yet, State of California, were given the same press as our brave soldiers, in harm's way, then their sacrafices might be allow the American people to see that killing of our people isn't only happening in Iraq! Isn't it time we addressed our own US homicides is an equal effort to do something about that also!
Is our News Media really concerned about our people getting killed or is the politics the issue? The war in Iraq isn't the only one killing our people!
But for some reason it is almost the only one getting printed, every day!
I am in no way, trying to lesson the tremendous sacrafices our troops are making, but until we can
provide safety here in the USA, how can we expect same, in a mess like Iraq?
I guess, I am cynical, about the press and media motives of a daily soldier body count, while egnoring a much bigger body count right here in the Golden State! Right here in the GREATEST Country in the History of the world!
