Killer cat?
Who's to say that "Oscar" if that's even his real name, isn't helping along these deaths that he's supposedly predicting? I can just imagine him stalking the halls, looking for his next victims, curling up on their chests, o so innocently purring. Then, when all the nurses and doctors are away, the tiny furry paws creep silently up to the nose and mouth, suffocating them slowly, painfully....
Either that or he justs thinks that once they die he can eat them. He's a cat, after all.
What a mean comment you have made about this cat. Obviously, you've never had a relative near-death in a hospice situation. I've read several news articles about this cat each offering different explanations for its behavior, all plausable in my opinion. Your comment just supports those ill-informed (and you can substitute my original adjective that started with an A) jerks who don't like cats. Mariel, you just lost an fan with your feeble attempt at humor.
For all the animal people who assume I hate cats becaue of this post, you are dead wrong. I love them, I just don't anthropormophize. They are not humans, they are predators. My cats -- like yours, surely -- are loving, sweet, adorable, my babies -- and they like to kill things for fun.
