More Comic Relief
Wow! I love the new comics section. The Daily News didn’t cut the comics, they just helped them migrate to the front page of View Point.
All of you electronic readers, run out and buy the Sunday print edition and see Patrick O’Connor’s brilliant cartoons. They both inform and amuse in ways pointed and artful. Go Patrick!

The strongest argument for returning "Mallard Fillmore" to the Daily News is the fact that the LA Times dropped the strip when it became too controversial in it's conservative bent for the effete liberals who run the Times.

The Times has dumb down (and cut down) their comics page in recent years. I was really disappointed that the bean counters seemingly got to the Daily News too. It was the reason I felt the DN was better than the Times.
Truly glad the Editors decided that some comics could come back, but I hope that the Daily News brings back Judge Parker also.
