Speaking of Mr. Big
What does it say about me that when I first saw Bridget's post, I had no idea she was talking about "Sex and the City." I thought she was talking about this:
On second thought, don't answer that question. Not sure I wanna know.

You mean Bridget's post?
(For the record, I know the bassist for Mr. Big. Hair band claim to fame...)
Sorry, Bridget, yes I mean your post (mistake since corrected). Up until now, I assumed MARIEL was the world's biggest SATC fan. (She even wrote a column about the final episode.) So when I saw the post, I read right past the byline and assumed it was hers.
And while I don't personally know the bassist of Mr. Big, I can tell you his name is Billy Sheehan, and that he used to play for David Lee Roth. (No one may be able to match your talent for SATC trivia, but I'm pretty formidable on the subject of 80-90s glam rock!)
Billy's a big cat lover, so I bought him lunch once when I was editor of a cat magazine -- and heard David Lee Roth stories! We featured him in an article along with Rikki Rockett (who lives up around Santa Clarita), Steven Tyler (who once rescued his cat from a burning house), and others.
