The return of Mr. Big

This is (*sniff*) the happiest (*sniff sniff*) day of my life: Not only will there be a "Sex and the City" movie, but Chris Noth is returning as Mr. Big. Not only was this the best-written series on TV in a long time (let's face it -- the cable networks make much better TV because they're not hamstrung by FCC rules), but it had one of the sweetest series finales. Which begs the question -- will the movie ruin the happily ever afters? After six years, Carrie learned Mr. Big was the one (and we finally learned his real name); Miranda embraced motherhood and learned that true love included caring for her husband's mum who had dementia; Charlotte learned that love was not to be found with her JFK Jr.-types, but with a short bald guy who was compassionate about her infertility; and Samantha finally gave in to love when the guy she just saw as a boy toy helped her get through breast cancer. I can't wait to see these characters on screen again, but how can they improve on the ending? Sarah Jessica Parker said the storyline will pick up in real time. Will Carrie marry Mr. Big or have already married him, or will they go through more relationship drama? Charlotte and Harry were about to get their adopted baby when the series ended -- will they have a bunch by this point? And hopefully Samantha will still be with Smith and not be back to bed-hopping or dating Richard.

And yes, nobody can beat me at "SATC" trivia. Nobody.

Carrie (Sarah J-P's character) and Kim Cattrall's especially were such sluts, they put to shame the lame shenanigans of our Mayor and Mirthala.

Yet this slutty foursome was given the royal treatment for years and again here by you, Bridget, a commentator in a Conservative paper who has raked the Mayor and Mirthala over burning coals for two months now.

Among the most mean: none other than the above Chris Weinkopf, who at least admits he knows nothing about popular culture, and lives in his own parallel universe.
