The tragedy of Pedro

Pedro Guzman, a developmentally disabled man from Lancaster wrongly deported to Mexico, was finally found yesterday in Calexico. He survived by digging through trash bins for food and living on the streets. That's due to a loving family who spent three months searching for him; the government agency that so callously tossed a special needs U.S. Citizen out of the country didn't help at all. He even tried to cross the border several times and was turned back. Breaks your heart to think of this slow young man, alone and scared in a foriegn country.

We have no idea how the mistake was made, because our good friends at ICE are not talking. Someone in power ought to compell them to.

What shows how out-of-control our immigration policy is, a policy our congress and senate are too afraid to fix, a policy that results in creative enforcement by local agencies and even cities.

After Sean Penn finish to kissy-kissy everyone in Venezuela he can come back home and use his "power" to figure out what happened to Pedro Guzman, the developmentaly disable man, wrongly deported to Mexico and get ICE to explain (if it can) what really happened.
