Bun rap
If you've seen this new Carl's Jr. patty melt ad by now, you know it's clearly a spoof on Sir Mix-a-Lot's "Baby Got Back" and Van Halen's "Hot for Teacher" -- which is probably still the anthem of many teen boys despite it's un-PC branding now.
Of course, it's gotten some people all bent out of shape. A statement from the Tennessee Education Association:
"How irresponsible can you get? At this very moment, there are female teachers in high school classrooms with 30+ students who are working hard to teach our children so that they can compete in today's world. It is unbelievably demeaning to every one of them to promote a television advertisement showing a young teacher gyrating on top of her desk while boys in the class rap about her body in order to sell hamburgers!"
Oh my word... lighten up! It's just a commercial. Do you honestly think that kids will respect their teachers less because a flat-bunned model goofs around on a hamburger commercial?
