Depressed about your subprime loan?

Osama feels your pain:

"And Iraq and Afghanistan and their tragedies; and the reeling of many of you under the burden of interest-related debts, insane taxes and real estate mortgages; global warming and its woes; and the abject poverty and tragic hunger in Africa: all of this is but one side of the grim face of this global system."

I'm really enjoying the many tangents in Osama's return to the small screen. It's like the end of "Team America: World Police," where a blustering Alec Baldwin, rapidly losing favor with his audience, stammers, "But... global warming... and ... and... the corporations..."

Not to mention, actually finding a transcript was an accomplishment in and of itself. I'm not sure how much the caution of U.S. media agencies has to do with not wanting to give Osama a platform and how much is fear that some sleepy cell will be awakened and driven to terror just by hearing Osama's voice on the CBS Evening News.

Which brings me to my final question -- is Noam Chomsky actually HAPPY to be praised by Osama??

Letter to Osama. Sir, stop trying to destroy USA. Give us time and we will do it ourselve. Correction, we ARE doing it ourselves. We are doing it since 1956, the year Wal-Mart opened its first store. Osama, please, pay attention. We have an enormous Trade Deficit with China. We have CEO after CEO greadily cheating destroying lives and jobs. We are outsourcing one job after another. We finished one war and forgetting what happened, we started another bankrupting one. We re-elected Bush in 2004 (that was really a bad joke) and we have real estate agents selling homes to people not qualified to buy one, but doing it anyway as long as they (the agents) can collect legally or illegally their 20 percent fee. Osama, take a look of the world mess we created by subprime loans and tell us if you really want to waste time destroyng us when we are doing it so beautifully ourselves. Osama, if you come here to do some shopping, hoping to buy something Made in USA, you will clearly see that little, very little, is made here. And even that little will vanish and you can retire, get a couple of more wives and enjoy the company of your grandchildren, or perhaps, turn your attention to China and to the possibility to convert 2 billion people to your faith. What about that?
