Larry Craig: Making the World Safer, One Bathroom at a Time
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the Larry Craig scandal, as well as a similar tale involving a Georgia official looking for lust in all the wrong places, has all but curbed gay-sex hookups at the nation's busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson International in Atlanta:
Police at Hartsfield-Jackson busted 11 men for public indecency in January, 8 in February, 12 in March, 1 in April 10 in May, 1 in June, 1 in July and 1 in August.
Cops attribute the drop-off to all the news surrounding Craig, which has taught would-be cruisers that airport police are setting up sting operations. Maybe Craig can claim this as his new defense -- he just wanted to get out the word on law-enforcement to deter crime, honorable politician that he is.
