Nor will his pastor's words (if they're no more inflammatory than the ho-hum examples Earl has cited) become a big story, like Wright-gate. When a candidate's pastor preaches plain biblical teaching, it is not news. When he preaches racial intolerance and ant-American hatred, it is. Trying to equate the two represents a rather feeble attempt at moral equivalence.
