I'm going to disagree with Jonathan that what will happen to Gov. Palin and her pregnant teen daughter will be "terrible." For one thing, it could also be karmic justice for a politician with a naive approach to sex-ed, and for a party that has monopolized a brass-knuckles approach to national politics since at least the days of Lee Atwater.

The NRA's Miss Con-gun-iality may not have signed up for this, but I would say that anyone who runs for a governorship should be ready for the circus that could take place in coming weeks. And if she isn't ready, the, um, "experienced" McCain campaign should have sniffed that out.

So no sympathy from me. And I love Jonathan's "flag abuse picture." [Insert gunfire innuendo here....]
