A question
Since so many Fox pundits have declared that Obama has destroyed the global economy in a mere two months, can we at least credit him for stabilizing Iraq? Oh, that's right. It doesn't cut both ways.

Rob,
Come on man, you're better than that... I never pegged you to be so intellectually dishonest. Comparing Obama's ACTIONS on the economy to his LACK OF ACTION in Iraq is like comparing apples, to well, onions... Obama has virtually not acted in any meaningful way on the issue of Iraq. Conversely, his many actions regarding the economy have compounded an already awful situation. You don't need FOX pundits to see that...

Ditto what Zamarripa said (twice). I think some of us are having trouble posting on this site; occasionally it wants to print us twice. I guess when what we have to say is really, REALLY good. LOL
Zamarripa -- I like to go back to the intellectual dishonesty of people who claim that we'll need a generation to see if Bush was a success, but who pronounce Obama a failure for not immediately pulling us out of the ditch that Bush drove us into. That, sir, is intellectual dishonesty. Nice try, though.
But let's not stop there, Zamarripa. How exactly do you describe the state of the economy that Obama inherited? Was it peachy? Did he wreck a beautifully frosted cake?
Rob,
On your first comment: You're putting words in my mouth and twisting your own without addressing your initial post. You asked a question, I answered. And your response is revealing; it now veers from intellectual dishonesty to intellectual laziness... Stay on topic...
On your second comment: Did you even read what I wrote? "His actions have compounded an already awful situation." Obama inherited a bad economy, we all know that--I think the Bush bailout was a terrible idea. But again, Obama's actions have made the mess much, much worse and now it is his mess and he keeps making it messier. His economic sensibilities are so lacking that I don't think he's ever heard of the word "scarcity" (in that way, he's emblematic of the culture--but that's a different debate for different day). His actions and words have killed confidence, and now along comes the AIG bonus scandal. He's "shocked" and "outraged"... Well, it was in the bill he and everyone else rushed through. Wasn't he going to go through every bill "line for line"? Wasn't it that kind of crap that he was going to "change"? We could go on and on, but the point, again, is that Obama has "compounded an already awful situation" in regards to the economy. You have to see that Rob, I read your posts, I know you have a firm grasp of economics...
Zamarripa is right on AND wasting precious pearls of wisdom. The Left does not recognize anyone else's opinion on anything, especially if it involves freedom of speech. This isn't 'negative' trash talk, it's a fact. Better we talk with G. Tzipporah-Saunders or on occasion, when he's reasonable, E. Ofari Hutchinson, rather than to the above. There are those who live in and deal with reality and those, who, well, you know...
Thanks, Canary, you're certainly free to take your little ball and go home. Oh, and Gail-Tzipporah is a woman, not a man.
I think Canary knows that, I think he/she was referring to E. Ofari as the only occasionally reasonable writer, not G. Tzipporah... :)
And you can't get rid of ME that easily. I want to stay and play ball. :)
Oh, that's right. Well, thanks for hanging out, Diane!
