Here's a partial list of things I've seen on the bus, from the bus or waiting for the bus, in no particular order.

- A white Infinity with vanity plates reading, "DrTalk" merging into 101 traffic from the Van Nuys Boulevard on-ramp. Is that you Dr. Laura?

- A pile of not-so-fresh vomit and a oblivious woman sitting next to it.

- A man driving with a dog on his lap. But not a lap dog, a large one the size of a full-grown labrador.

- A man sitting in bed, reading the paper - in his makeshift shelter in the ivy on a freeway embankment between the 101 and an off-ramp.
