When the sky opens up and sane people head for shelter I go outside looking for 'Rain Art'. Today I found Juan Berera paving a parking lot in the rain. While I was out shooting in the rain I had a camera on a timer in pointing out the window of our newsroom. Check out the time-lapse photography >>

This is just bizarre. An exact replica of the Los Angeles Men's Central Jail in the middle of a court room. The faux cell was built by movie crews so prosecutors could demonstrate how Santiago Pineda allegedly killed two men while in jail. Pineda was found guilty in one count and sentenced to death. The jury is still deliberating the other count. Click here to read the story>>

Cristel, the parent of on of nine Black teens accused of beating three white women on Halloween, cries as she talks about her child. The parents represents nine of the 10 youths showed up at a community forum to talk about their kids. In my book it on thing to say, "My kid didn't do it", which is what most of the parents were saying. But, Cristel took the opportunity to tell the crowd that, "It was just kids out having fun"..."you gotta look that a group of White girls insulted our children" Check out the audio slideshow>>
