20071212-PN13-GUADALUPE01-JG.jpgRosendo Rios attaches money to a shrine during a Virgin of Guadalupe Day celebration at an apartment complex in Downtown Long Beach, Calif. on Wednesday, December 12, 2007. Rios said each year he and his friends and family attach money and after two day anybody who need it can take it. Last year he took twenty dollars, this year he gave one-hundred dollars. About 50 people braved the cold weather as they gathered in the courtyard of the u-shaped building on Sixth Street between Golden Ave and Daisy Avenue to pray, eat and listen to music.
