LONG BEACH, CALIF. -- Jon Wilhite throws out the first pitch as the Armada take one the Orange County Flyers at Blair Field in Long Beach, Calif. on June 27, 2009. Wilhite is the sole survivor of a car crash that killed Los Angeles Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart and two others on April 9, 2009. He was seriously hurt and in a medically induced coma for a while after the crash. Wilhite is a former Cal State Fullerton baseball player who graduated from the university with a business degree in 2008.

Elayna's mother, Kristina Beserra, said she doesn't usually react to stimulus and has, "never seen her react like this" refering to how much she was smiling when she met Elmo and Zoe.
