Just read about the flooding in Long Beach and was shocked to see so much water in my old hometown! (I was born and raised in Long Beach 1942-1970) and I miss it alot.

How about a photo from the Willow bridge over the LA river looking north? There's a block in the river that makes the most incredible water fan-tail! More flooded-out places and storm photos from Long Beach!

He has won numerous state and national awards, including an international NPPA Best of Photojournalism award in 2003 and Best News Photo from the Los Angeles Press Club in 2010.
