More bad news for Truex

Martin Truex Jr. was fined and his team was penalized for bringing a car to Daytona last weekend that did not pass inspection by NASCAR officials.
Truex was penalized 150 points and dropped four places in the Cup standings. He is 18th in the Sprint Cup standings.
Truex's crew chief Kevin Manion was fined $100,000 and suspended until Aug. 27. Teresa Earnhardt, the owner of the team, was penalized 150 points in the owners standings.
