Kids too fat?
Is the majority of their exercise regiment consisting of walking to the flat screen when the remote gets lost to change channels on the cable box by hand?
Well, then its time to strap those young ones to bicycle chain gang and get them burning some calories on the way school.
This morning, the Associated Press ran a story about “Safe Routes,” a nationwide movement to get kids walking and biking to school in big groups.
The only downside – parents have to schlep to school on a bicycle at 7a.m. too.
According to the story, California has the largest contingent of these junior posse's roaming the streets, although none around here.
