About Tim Haddock

I started reading Harry Potter books to my son when he was born. It wasn't the first book I read to him. That would be Beowulf. Nothing says bedtime like vikings and vengeful monster mothers.
But Harry Potter became a popular choice in the Haddock household. As my son got older, our intrerest in the books grew. My son became inexplicably interested in Uncle Vernon. I'm not sure exactly why, perhaps because of the colorful descriptions JK Rowling gave him, but that was the character my son would gravitate toward as we read the books.
I became obsessed with some of the other characters and began developing my own theories and predictions of what will happen to them. I believe Snape is evil, Ron will die and Harry will defeat Voldermort. I am not sure Harry will kill Voldermort himself -- don't think Harry has it in him -- but I think he will partake in Voldermort's demise.
Because of my son, I became a Harry Potter geek. Not that I'm complaining, I've learned to enjoy the stories and the movies. And I am no expert, but I have read every book and seen every movie thus far.
Just don't get me started on the similarities between Harry Potter and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Mr. Haddock,

How do I pass on HP current news stories to the site? I enjoy what you and Sharon Kaplan have been doing. I'd like to promote the site- I run a popular HP-fan site on Myspace. And I think it is a dream to write news on HP and J.K. Rowling.
