Thank you veterans for serving our country!

The Steinmetz Senior Center in Hacienda Heights helds an appreciation dinner for area veterans on Nov. 6.

Nearly 50 local veterans were honored at the popular event. Each received a special plaque thanking them for their service. They were treated to entertainment, dinner and dancing.

Many talked about their experiences in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Read their stories in the Hacienda Heights Highlander and Rowland Heights Highlander. A photo display is included.
