Summer reading program ends at Hacienda Heights Library

The last children's event in the 2009 Summer Reading Program takes place at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29 at the Hacienda Heights Library, 16010 La Monde St.

This event features a carnival at which children use the tokens earned from summer reading to play games and win prizes.

The final event in the Teen Summer Reading Program also takes place next week.

An art activity of Bojagi/Korean silk scarf painting is offered at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, also at the library. For information, call (626) 968-9356.
