Kings goalie Jonathan Quick named NHL’s third star of the week

Kings goalie Jonathan Quick was named the NHL’s third star for last week after he won two games and had a 1.00 goals-against average and a .971 save percentage. Quick has started four games during the Kings’ five-game winning streak and has stopped 113 of 117 shots. His goals-against average is 0.99 and his save percentage is .966 in his last four games. He improved his career record to 15-1-5 in 21 games against the Edmonton Oilers with a 3-2 victory Sunday.
