(Updated) Blues’ Ryan Reaves fined for hit on the Kings’ Anze Kopitar

Blues forward Ryan Reaves was fined $3,024.19 by the NHL, the maximum allowable under the collective bargaining agreement, for a first-period hit on Kings center Anze Kopitar that forced Kopitar from a 3-0 victory Tuesday in St. Louis. Reaves was penalized for roughing on the play, at 11:56 of the first period.

Kings coach Darryl Sutter told reporters Kopitar was “fine.”

“He’s good,” Sutter said. “Same as last night.”
