Assault charges dropped against Kristy Swanson...
It looks like Buffy won't be going to the big house.
Kristy Swanson, star of the original "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" movie that spawned the classic TV series, has had assault charges against her dropped by Canadian prosecutors. They stemmed from a confrontation the actress had with the ex-wife of her boyfriend, Olympic skating medalist Lloyd Eisler, who she hooked up with off-screen when they were paired up on "Skating with Celebrities."
Swanson, through rep Michael Sands, told the AP: "I am thrilled and excited that the charge has been dropped ... this never should have happened and our family can move on."
Swanson was arrested by Ontario police last June for allegedly assaulting Marcia O'Brien, ex-wife of Eisler and mother of his two children.
Swanson says she was with Eisler to visit his two young children when O'Brien attacked her in front of the children, bruising her knee and scratching her arm. No charges were filed against O'Brien
