Good morning...
Well, here's the deal. There are so many plot "spoilers" floating around cyberspace about "Sex and the City: The Movie." Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) spotted in a wedding dress! Charlotte (Kristen Davis) seen pregnant! Is it real? Are they dream sequences? I've decided to not play that game, will just enjoy the pictures like this one of SJP and wait for the movie to come out!... Caught a coupla movies over the weekend and really liked George Clooney, Tilda Swinton and Tom Wilkinson in "Michael Clayton." There will be some Oscar nominations there, I'm sure.
As for "The Heartbreak Kid," some genuinely funny moments in this Ben Stiller comedy directed by the Farrelly brothers. But overall, more of a DVD rental than a movie that reaches the heights of their "There's Something About Mary." The movie opened way below expectations, grossing a heartbreaking $14 million or so and finishing second for the weekend. Still, even "Heartbreak" was far more entertaining than the never-ending Britney Spears reality show co-starring her friends, the paparazzi. Brit got a flat tire early Sunday morning, a paparazzi changed it for her and at one point she was singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town.' Not kidding. She also posed for pictures. Her mom and sister have flown into town (to save her from herself?).
And because they had not been photographed enough already, Britney (wearing dark glasses at night) and Jamie went to a Taco Bell drive-thru but tried to order with the window rolled up. One of the approximately 100 photographers on hand ended up ordering the food for her. This is one crazy co-dependent relationship!...And speaking of relationships, Pam Anderson got hitched in Vegas to Rick Soloman, the dude who was in that sex tape with Paris Hilton and was once married to Shannon Daugherty. Hey! Pam was in a sex tape too! They have so much in common. It's the "Baywatch" broad's third marriage and second one this year. I've already written a post on their divorce and will post it as soon as it happens. Crazy kids. i wonder how it feels to make a mockery of marriage with the world watching?...Meanwhile, other couples were out and about over the weekend including Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, looking terrific together, stepping out this for the premiere of Kidman's new movie "Margot at the Wedding"...Newlyweds Kate Walsh and Alex Young went to the USC football game on Saturday...Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel enjoyed some takeout together in Toronto...In plastic surgery news: ">Sharon Osbourne wants us to know that she is through with it, once and for all. But then again, what is there left to do after you've had your breasts done, gastric bypass, and [I didn't know there was such a thing] a "leg lift"?...In baby news: a four months pregnant Halle Berry made a red carpet appearance Saturday night in NYC...
...In family news: there seems to be a possibility that estranged Oscar-winning father and daughter Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie might me mending fences. Might be. Voight was seen leaving NYC's Waldorf Astoria on Sunday where the Jolie-Pitt family is staying...And while we're on the subject of Jolie-Pitt, Brad gave an interview to Parade which ran Sunday and talked a little bit about what it's like to be under constant assault by photographers. Unlike Britney, he doesn't much like it: "I understand the tabloid machine. There's money to be made off of Angie and me, but it has gotten so out-of-hand. There's no decency, even when it comes to our kids....We've been run out of L.A., all the major cities. We just can't live there. You don't understand - this is the hint, the hunt, the hunt! I thought it might be over a year ago. It's gotten worse."
