Swaps Stakes winner Arson Squad, the next star in trainer Bruce Headley’s barn, worked five furlongs Saturday morning at Del Mar in 1:00.20 in preparation for his next start — the Del Mar Derby on grass.
Afterwards, the crack Del Mar P.R. staff caught Headley with one of his classic quotes.
It was exactly what we wanted to do and what we did, and now it appears we can do what we want to do when we want to do it.?
OK, whatever Bruce.

Huh? Will Headley become the Yogi Berra of horse racing? Should his next horse be named “Aflac”?
“You know, there’s a fine line between winning and losing.”
“Yeah, the finish line.”

I was recommended this blog by means of my cousin. I am now not certain whether or not this submit is written by him as no one else realize such specific about my problem. You’re amazing! Thanks!
You really make it appear so easy with your presentation but I in finding this topic to be actually something that I think I would by no means understand. It seems too complicated and very vast for me. I’m taking a look ahead for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
