Take a look at these horses

Some nice betting opportunities today at Del Mar ...

Take a look at Song and a Wager in today's fourth ... she went four-wide on the turn in her debut and was flying in the stretch. She's 8-1 on the morning line. She's a win-place bet at 10-1 or more.
Royal Cherry, at 3-1, could be long gone once the gates open for the fifth. Bet her win-only at 5-2 or higher.
In the nightcap, Springstreetballet could be the play of the day. She's 4-1 on the morning line and switches to Martin Pedroza, who has great success with Adam Kitchingman runners. You need at least 3-1 to bet on this filly, but I think she's a great single in Pick Six, Pick Four and Pick Three wagers.

Nice choices, two out of three. I was with you with Springstreetballet. I missed out on Royal Cherry, going with Run Goldie Run.

And, yep, Song and a Wager was good to me. Completed by second of first two Pick 3's. Along with the opening Daily Double, it was a great day.

Can you say Daisykiller?

Kirk,

You scored on Daisykiller? What a great hit!! Now, THOSE are the types of horses I like to see people cash in on ... not little 2-1 or 8-5 favorites. I mean, sometimes you have to throw those types of horses in because they just figure, but so many times people are afraid to play long shots because they just don't have confidence in their handicapping skills.
Congrats!!!

Thanks, appreciate it. I usually avoid longshots, but in a 2yo Maiden race, anything can happen and it usually does.

Had the same fortune Monday in the 8th, having Seliman come in on top for a nice Superfecta wheel.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But you can only find out when you put your money where your picks are.

Yep ... I had Seliman time before last when he broke sideways at just about the price he scored at when he won last time. He was closing like a rocket the day I bet him and I should have stayed with him. Jerry Fanning is still a very capable trainer.
