You’d better take a good, long look at any horse trained by Brian Koriner rnier and ridden by Aaron Gryder. The former NoCal-based trainer and Gryder, a West Covina native, are combining their talents to win races this year at a very impressive rate.
The duo teamed up twice Wednesday at Santa Anita, winning the fourth race with 3-1 shot Mama Lula and then taking the nightcap with Tribal Princess, a horse that went off at 5-2 and capped a near $19,000 pick-six payoff. The duo is winning at a 30-percent clip when they team up. Leave them out of any exotic bet at your own peril.
