Migliore going strong

| | Comments (0) |

We did our column on SoCal newcomer Richard Migliore last week, and the man was a joy to be around. You could not help but leave the jockeys' room rooting for the guy, hoping that it all works out and he can eventually have his family join him full time from New York.

On Friday, Migliore scored his first riding triple in the Southland, giving the 42-year-old veteran 10 wins and moving him into fourth place in the Santa Anita jockey standings. Agent Ron Anderson, who also handles Garrett Gomez's book, is obviously doing a marvelous job of lining up mounts for both riders. Gomez leads the Santa Anita standings.
