Santa Anita goodies

| | Comments (0) |

I like a few hores Saturday at Santa Anita, including the Brian Koriner-trained Wild Nekia in the first race, Range Roover in the second and Racketeer in the fifth.
I'll bet Wild Nekia in the first at 3-1 or better and also play some doubles -- Opimian, Hemet and Wild Nekia in the first to Range Roover in the second.

Range Roover, 6-1 on the morning line, looks like one of the solid plays of the afternoon. Trained by John Sadler and ridden by Martin Garcia, the 4-year-old gelding ran second against similar on Dec. 13 at Hollywood Park and looks to be sitting on a big effort.
Racketeer in the fifth is trained by Bobby Frankel and will be ridden by Garrett Gomez. His record of one victory, a second and five thirds in nine lifetime efforts doesn't inspire much confidence, so be careful of the price. Stay away at less than 2-1.
Good luck Saturday!!!
