Early reviews on Polytrack

I've heard some riders comment that unlike in the past, when speed was the name of the game, now on these new artificial surfaces, jockeys can place their horses where they want them and not be concerned that the speed is going to get away up front.

I don't think there is a heavy track bias, but the come-from-behinders have definitely been faring better on Polytrack then they seemd to run on Del Mar's old track. But it's still early. Let's give it a couple of weeks before we make any definitive opinions.
