Two look good at Del Mar on Wednesday

| | Comments (0) |

I like two races today at Del Mar-- Ibesmokin in the fifth with Joel Rosario in the saddle for trainer Mark Glatt and America's Friend in the nightcap for trainer Barry Abrams. Mike Smith will ride.

Ibesmokin has enough tactical speed to stay within striking distance down the backside and then pounce in the stretch like many horses have been doing on Del Mar's new Polytrack. In the eighth, America's Friend will be closing willingly under Smith while taking a slight class drop. He's been running in maiden special weights recently and will be in for a $40,000 tag today.
Both horses are 4-1 on the morning line and I believe excellent singles in the pick four.
