Amanda won't be missed

Did anyone think Amanda Overmyer had any chance to win American Idol? Sure, she was different, fresh and new, but she also wasn't all that appealing. Her voice was interesting and different, but it wasn't something you could listen to for over an hour. And it looks like voters couldn't stand her for more than five shows (Top 24, Top 20, Top 16, Top 12, Top 11...), which gave her about 5-7 minutes of total singing time.

Considering who she eclipsed, is Amanda's exit too late? Or too early? Personally, I think David Hernandez and Asia'h Epperson could've outlasted Amanda.
