Tonight's theme is Music From the Year You Were Born. That means Carly Smithson will sing something from 1983 and David Archuleta will pick a song from 1990. Expect more 80s hits and if we're very very lucky, a Paula Abdul
song.

I don't watch American Idol, but because I'm a broderline psychotic Chris Cornell fan, I saw that Cook guy do my man's rendition of Billie Jean. I have mixed feelings... I LOVE Chris Cornell, I don't like American Idol, but I want to thank that Cook guy for not trying to sound like Chris. No one ever could....
