Citrus athletes on to universities

Volleyball standouts Kim Collins and Kassidy Greenberg have made four-year college decisions.

Collins (Upland HS), a 5-foot-10 middle blocker, is headed to NAIA LaSierra University in Riverside. She closed out an impressive two-year career with the Owls, earning first team All-Western States Conference South honors. She was second on the team in kills (172) and blocks (44) during her sophomore campaign.

Greenberg (Walnut HS) will attend NAIA St. Thomas University in Miami, Fla. She was a two time All-WSC South selection, earning 1st team honors as a freshman and second team honors as a sophomore. In 2012, the 5-11 opposite hitter recorded 125 kills, 15 aces and 36 blocks.
