The last two sophomores from the state runner-up Chaffey College men’s basketball team have finalized their futures.

Justin Cole, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard, is headed to NCAA Division II Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. Cole (Valley View HS) will join Panthers teammate Sango Niang who signed there in the spring.

Meanwhile 6-5 shooting guard D’on Hall (Palm Desert HS) is headed to NAIA Lindsay Wilson College in Columbia, Ky. Lindsay Wilson went 32-5 last year, advancing to the NAIA national semifinal.

That makes six Panthers who have moved on. These two join Niang, Ryan Nitz (CS Monterey Bay), Justin Long (Hawaii Pacific) and Kenny Morgan (Adams State) who are all headed to Division II schools.

The Panthers went 27-7 last season, losing the state title game to Mt. SAC 102-88.
