Citrus player heads to Arkansas

Citrus College sophomore Arianna Caffey became the third Owl to sign a scholarship offer, doing so with NCAA DII Henderson State in Arkansas.

“I had a great visit out there [Henderson State]. They have a good tradition, and a strong community surrounding it,” Caffey said. “It’s a beautiful campus that’s close to a lot of cool places. It’s has a strong program for my major and its going to be a good fit for me on the court and off.”

Caffey came to Citrus during the 2012-2013 season after playing one year at California State Dominguez Hills during the 2011-2012 season. As a sophomore at Citrus, Caffey appeared in 27 games for the Owls, averaging 3.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.
