Chaffey College’s Khaliffah Roser will compete in the 2013 Pan American Junior Championships in Columbia.
Rosser, who will be a sophomore in the fall, will compete in the 400 meter hurdles, with his first round race set for 10:10 a.m. local time.
Rosser qualified for the event with a second-place finish (51.42) at the U.S. Junior National Championship meet in June in Des Moines, Iowa.
Rosser, a product of Summit High School, also had a stellar first year with the Panthers. He was the California Community College state champion, winning that title in May at College of San Mateo.
