Cal State volleyball team moves up 4 spots

The Cal State San Bernardino volleyball team moved up four places to No. 16 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II poll released today.

The Coyotes (9-4, 5-0) sit alone in first in the CCAA after a big week that included noteworthy wins over No. 12 UC San Diego (11-2) and Chico State as well as Cal State Stanislaus.

The CCAA is also represented by No. 13 Sonoma State (10-2), another team the Coyotes have already beaten.

Defending national champion Concordia-St. Paul (13-1) moved into the top spot after a win over its rival Minnesota-Duluth (13-1), which had been No. 1.

The Coyotes are on the road at Humboldt State Thursday and Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday.
