Cal State volleyball team drops to 13 in national poll

The Cal State San Bernardino volleyball team dropped one spot to No. 13 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll released today.

The Coyotes (16-5, 12-1) had a 13-match win streak snapped on Saturday when they lost to visiting Sonoma State (17-4) which is ranked 14th. The CCAA is also represented by UC San Diego at No. 12.

Despite the loss, Cal State still has a two-game lead in the CCAA race ahead of San Diego and Sonoma. The Coyotes are looking for an eighth straight and 10th in 12 years.

Cal State is home this weekend to host Cal State Stanislaus on Friday and Chico State on Saturday at Coussoulis Arena.
