Cal State San Bernardino’s Lacy Haddock has been named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 30-Jan. 5
Haddock led the No. 19 Coyotes (9-1) to home wins over No. 21 Chico State and Cal State Stanislaus.
The senior guard was outstanding on offense, shooting 68 percent (17-for-25) from the floor, while averaging 21.5 points, six assists, two steals, and 1.5 blocks on the weekend.
In Friday’s 84-81 victory against the Wildcats, Haddock had 15 point effort with five assists, three blocks, and two steals.
The following night, the Las Vegas native scored a CSUSB career-high 28 points after sinking 11-of-13 attempts from the floor, which included four made from the arc, and two-of-two from the free throw line. He also contributed a weekend-high seven assists in the Coyotes 87-72 win over the Warriors.
