Chaffey College basketball standout Adom Jacko is moving on to Loyola Marymount. The 6-foot-8 power forward chose that program over others including Cal State Fullerton and said that staying local was important to him.
The Alta Loma High School graduate averaged a team-high 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in helping the Panthers to the California state semifinals.
He was a first-team All-Foothill Conference and first team All-State selection. He was also a tournament most valuable player in two events in which Chaffey competed during the regular season.
Jacko was also part of a team that advanced to the state championship game as a freshman.
He plans to major in sociology and is still taking classes at Chaffey. He’ll enroll at LMU for the 2015 school year.
