The postseason accolades continue for the Coyotes’ volleyball team, which placed three on this year’s Daktronics All-West Region team.

Senior All-American MB Tori May and junior OH Alexandra Torline were named to the first team, and junior MB Brenna McIntosh was named to the second team.

May, who earned second-team honors a year ago, holds the second-best attack percentage in the country (.412, NCAA stats Nov. 17) and threw down 15 in Thursday’s opening round victory over Western Washington. She averages 2.92 kills/set and averages 0.98 blocks/set for the 21-6 Coyotes.

Torline leads the Coyotes in kills (444), kills/set (4.23), attacks (1,251) service aces (31) and points (506.5). She also was a first-team All-CCAA selection earlier this week. She led the Coyotes with 18 kills in the victory over Western Washington.

McIntosh, who earned third-team All-American honors from Daktronics a year ago, earned her third straight region honor. She ranks third in the country in blocks/set (1.37) and has a CCAA-leading 136 total blocks going into Friday’s NCAA West Region semifinal. Against WWU, she had 11 kills with two solo and three block assists.

May and Torline now advance to the national All-American ballot.
